Summer 2018 Round Up
11th September 2018
As we approach mid September, we are getting back into routine and refocusing after the slower vibes of Summer. Although the last few months have been tainted with sadness, with the loss of our good friend and colleague Alan. In true Grayso style, we have got the wine gums in and are getting on with it, trying to do him proud and upholding his high standards.
We have been trusted with some great projects and wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what we have been up to,and also to say a big thank you for your business and support. It does not and will not go unnoticed or taken for granted, so be sure we will hard for you all.
Cast your mind back to June which saw France victorious in the FIFA World Cup. We had been working with Coca-Cola in delivering a range of POS to get Shoppers involved in the fun, with new on-pack graphics across the Coca‑Cola portfolio, and bespoke activations for shoppers in-store.
FIFA World Cup was closely followed by the Summer campaign which gave Coca-Cola fans a chance to win unforgettable summer experiences, with 1,000s of prizes to win every day including, whale watching in Iceland, meditation in Italy, surfing in Portugal. The colourful POS with picturesque polaroid’s of summer scenes looked great instore and online. We have been working with the Digital team creating animations for each campaign displayed on instore screens, social media and animated out door advertisements space.
It was also at the start of Summer in June when some of the biggest music acts came to Holywood for Harmony Live 2018. Top Loader were spotted having a bite to eat in the cafes, Boomtown Rats in Fontana and Reef wandering about playing guitars on the high street. The entire weekend was an outstanding musical spectacle, put together by Mari Jackson and team for us all to enjoy. We were proud to be involved working on the new brand and marketing materials.
Classic Marble have had a particularly exciting year so far, with the launch of the Classi Academy portal, while breaking more new ground in mainland UK via social media campaigns. We worked together to build and develop the online training portal for the branches that stock and sell the Classi product. We were delighted to develop an online social and digital media strategy to help reach the new, and existing client base, with some very interesting results.
They also are almost ready to launch their unique anti slip shower trays, these are truly amazing. After more than two years in research, development and testing to the very highest of levels, 38 designs later, they are ready for market – watch this space for more news soon.
Throughout the year we have been working with Beechill Country House in re branding the beautiful country house just outside Derry/Londonderry. Over the Summer it’s been great to see that brand come to life and roll out across a range of materials.
We have been designing a new look website for Western Brand cooked Chicken products, and a digital media strategy which will be launching before the end of the year, along with a refreshed label design with updated photography, it is good enough to eat!
Our friend and client, David Reaney, has just opened his latest venture, Bridge Dental on the Albertbridge Road. This required a practice name, brand and office fit out. David has very high standards as does Gill who worked on this project. We love working with them because of that very fact, the place looks amazing – good luck guys.
We have been blessed with several new clients this Summer. We were delighted to win a tender contract with Titanic Foundation and have been enjoying getting to know the team and working on something very exciting which will be revealed in good time. We welcomed The Children Cancer Unit Charity into the neighbouring office and have been inspired by their worthy cause and how hard they work. As a charity they were responsible for building and continue to support the Children’s Cancer and Haematology Unit at the Royal Belfast Hospital. We will endeavour to support them in anyway we can, as well as continue to support the NI Hospice in the coming months.
Over the last year we have expanded our offerings, and our staff. Bringing together creative and talented people to deliver the very best for our clients. The work is one thing and is a given that it should always be of the highest of standards. But the relationships, friendships with our team here and our clients shines through and makes it a joy to come to work.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued trust and support, which showed in bucket loads over a tricky few summer months.
Onwards and upwards !!
ARC Team X.
